of accepted articles. Contributors also will be responsible for receiving

Additional
instructions for authors whose manuscripts have been accepted
When
preparing the final version of your manuscript, you must adhere to
APA style instructions and the following house-style conventions.
In case of conflict between APA and the house-style listed below,
the house-style shall take precedence. Otherwise, your manuscript
will be returned to you and will not be processed until these standards
are met.
All text
must be left-justified (including title, abstract, biographical note,
etc.). Single-space the text throughout the manuscript; double-space
between paragraphs. Headings of sections within your text should appear
in bold; this is the only instance of bolding allowed. Do not use
any special formatting; in particular, do not use section breaks;
page breaks; tabs; indents; or any other enhancements. Do not use
widow/orphan protection. Indicate the start of a new paragraph by
a simple hard return. Keep tables and charts to a minimum; ideally,
include any data that you currently have in tables or charts in the
text proper. Do not use footnotes; any textual material that is currently
in your footnotes and that you believe is crucial to your argument
should be included in the text proper. Long block quotes should be
integrated into your text and cut to an appropriate length of less
than 100 words. In your reference list, italicize the names of journals
and books.
Any
questions about the submission process, as well as general inquiries
about SIMILE, should be sent to UNOSIMILE@mail.unomaha.edu.
